Data terms

These terms cover the financial information you share with Finnus and the Value Profile we send back. The plain-language summary is on Your data.

Your information stays yours

You own the files you send us and the information in them. You give Finnus permission to use them to build and update your Value Profile, and for nothing else unless you agree.

Sharing

We never share your files or your profile with anyone, including buyers, lenders or advisors, without your OK. If an advisor referred you, we'll ask before sharing anything with them.

Benchmarks

If you agree, we may include your high-level figures in anonymous benchmarks. These are only ever shown in groups of 10 or more businesses. You can withdraw this consent anytime, and we'll stop using your figures in new benchmarks.

What a Value Profile is, and isn't

The value range in your profile is an estimate for planning, not a formal appraisal. It isn't tax, legal or investment advice. Bookkeeping, tax, legal work and representation in a sale are separate.

No commissions

Finnus never takes a percentage of any sale, and we don't buy businesses.
