Terms
Last updated October 2026
These terms apply when you use finnus.ai or anything Finnus provides: the Instant Value Estimate, your Value Profile, the Finnus plan, Ask Finn answers, board packs and projects. Finnus is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a Utah [entity type] (“Finnus”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them. How we handle your data is covered in the Privacy policy and the Data terms.
Using the site
Use Finnus for your own business, or one you're authorized to act for. Give us accurate information, keep your sign-in links and upload links to yourself, and don't try to get into anyone else's information or interfere with the site.
Estimates, not advice
Value Profiles, Instant Value Estimates, board packs and Ask Finn answers are estimates for planning. They are not formal appraisals or valuations, and they are not tax, legal, accounting or investment advice. Exit and tax figures are estimates, not tax advice. They depend on the information you give us and on assumptions that may turn out to be wrong. Talk to your own tax, legal and financial advisors before acting on them.
Checking your figures
Finnus may ask for tax returns or bank statements to verify figures, and may decline to prepare a profile without them. Value Profiles may not be used to solicit investors or raise money.
Plans and projects
The Value Profile is free. The Finnus plan is billed monthly or yearly at the price shown when you sign up. Projects are scoped and priced in writing before any work starts, at a fixed price, never hourly. Bookkeeping, tax, legal work and representation in a sale aren't included in any plan or project unless the written scope says so. We never take a commission or fee on the sale of your business.
Limitation of liability
Finnus is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on an estimate, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, and disputes are heard in the courts of Utah.
